Mumbai Indians reach the top of the table, thanks to their latest win but they are yet to confirm their qualifications in the next stage of the Indian Premier League 2020. They already had the Net Run Rate in their favor and then they went on to win their latest match against Royal Challengers Bangalore to accumulate 16 points. But Mumbai Indians have to wait for the next match of Kolkata Knight Riders and Kings XI Punjab to ensure their place in the playoffs. Royal Challengers Bangalore, with 14 points remains at 2nd position followed by Delhi Capitals at 3rd. This week is going to decide the fate of all teams as a lot of teams have the potential to end up with same points. And then the NRR will be the deciding factor. Delhi Capitals also have 14 points but they are behind RCB because of their NRR.
Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders are at 4th and 5th with same points. The 6th and 7th places of IPL 2020 points table are occupied by Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals now. Both, once again have same points and the ranks are decided by Net Run Rate.
