Mumbai Indians have played like trued defending champions in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders. The history repeated itself as Mumbai Indians once again proved to be a better performer than the KKR side. Mumbai Indians, at first reduced Kolkata Knight Riders for just 148 for the loss of five wickets and then went on to chase it down successfully in 16.5 overs losing the only a couple of wickets. With 12 points and a much better Net Run Rate than Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians are enjoying the top spot in the IPL 2020 points table.
Delhi Capitals are the second team in the following table followed by Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders at 3rd and 4th places. The Capitals will take on Chennai Super Kings as favorites tomorrow but the CSK would like to improve their standings in the chart. CSK has six points at present whereas Sunrisers Hyderabad with the same points is one place ahead of the Dhoni-led side. Tomorrow’s second match is scheduled to be played between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore. CSK must utilize the opportunity well.
