With 14 points from 10 matches, Royal Challengers Bangalore have replaced Mumbai Indians at the 2nd spot of the IPL 2020 Points Table. Mumbai Indians is now at 3rd place with 12 points from nine matches. Royal Challengers Bangalore had a brilliant show at Abu Dhabi today as the bundled out Kolkata Knight Riders for 84 runs and then chased it down smoothly. Kolkata Knight Riders are at 4th place now followed by Kings XI Punjab at 5th.
Kings Xi Punjab, on the other hand, have same points (8) as Rajasthan Royals and most certainly the Net Run Rate is the differentiating factor here. The case is similar to 7th and 8th placed teams- Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings who have six points each. Tomorrow’s match between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad is a good opportunity to SRH to surpass RR in the points table as they already have better NRR.
