After two consecutive defeats, finally, David Warner’s Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to seal their maiden win of Indian Premier League 2020. Sunrisers Hyderabad is the 6th placed team in the points table of IPL 2020 replacing Kolkata Knight Riders. The Riders are now at 7th position followed by Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings on 8th.
While the top five teams remain unchanged, Net Run Rate once again did the trick for the Hyderabad team today. With significantly better NRR Sunrisers Hyderabad despite winning only one match out of three are in a better position than KKR and CSK. KKR, fortunately, has played only two, and hence, the real competition of NRR was between SRH and CSK. The Kings also won just one match out three.
