IPL Points Table 2020: Updated After DC vs KXIP Match 2

Delhi Capitals claimed a super over win in the second match of the IPL 2020. Even though Mayank Agarwal showed his best, it was Marcus Stoinis who changed the fate of the match at the climax. Thanks to the tie, the points table does not match with Chennai Super Kings still leading the race.

Kings XI Punjab won the toss and decided to field first. The call went on the favour of the side as a brilliant Mohammad Shami ensured that the Capitals could not cross more than 160. Shami’s three-wicket haul did the trick for KXIP as Sheldon Cottrell (2/24) and the debutant Ravi Bishnoi (1/22) provided the required support. Delhi Capitals set a target of 158 for KXIP in 20 overs. KL Rahul led side started to lose wickets from the beginning. The batting line-up was demolished by Ravichandran Ashwin (2/2 in one over), Kagiso Rabada (4-0-28-2), and Marcus Stoinis (3-0-29-2). Mayank Agarwal kept the chase on till the second last ball of the innings before getting dismissed by Stoinis for 89 off 60.
