Kolkata Knight Riders have risen to the top of the points table in IPL 2019. After their 28-run victory over Kings XI Punjab at the Eden Gardens, they move from No.4 to No.1. On the other hand, KXIP slip one place down to No.4. Catch IPL Points Table 2019, updated after KKR vs KXIP Match 6.
With two big victories, KKR has the best net run rate of 0.834. However, KXIP slipped into the negative with a run rate of -0.35. Chennai Super Kings have been toppled as they move to No.2. In the 6th game of the season, KKR batted first and scored a massive 218/4 due to wonderful batting Robin Uthappa, Nitish Rana, and Andre Russell. KXIP battled hard but couldn’t climb the mountain of runs as they fell short by 28. Russell shone with the ball as well. He bagged 2 wickets to win the Man of the Match award.
