Delhi Capitals despite failing last time out impressed one and all and the batch of last three years was loved by all. The team looked like perfect blend of experience and youth with some legendary names in the management. Delhi had a bunch of Indian young talents that made them one of the interesting franchises over the years. Rishabh Pant who is considered future Indian cricket team captain now showed his ability for Delhi in IPL. No wonder Delhi decided to retain him along with Prithvi Shaw, Anrich Nortje, and Axar Patel.
Shaw might have lost his partner Shikhar Dhawan, his new partner David Warner is surely an entertainer. Warner’s IPL journey began with Delhi so this return would be a joyous one hopefully. Delhi also bought Mitchell Marsh in the auction, another great buy considering the form in the last T20 World Cup. Shardul Thakur was their biggest buy, and the Indian all-rounder is expected to justify the purchase. Delhi could not get hold of Shreyas Iyer but their buys look balanced amnd make them one of the primer contenders in the upcoming edition as well. Delhi bought Mustafizur Rahman, KS Bharat, Kuldeep Yadav, Lungi Ngidi and Rovman Powell along with a host of domestic youngsters like Yash Dhul and Vicky Ostwal as well. Lungi is a great replacement for Rabada and they already have Nortje as a main bowling attack.
