For their last encounter against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Chennai Super Kings made two changes to the playing XI. Moeen Ali wasn’t completely fit and had to make way for Dwayne Bravo. Because of Moeen’s departure, there was a shortage of a spinner. Hence, the franchise brought in Imran Tahir at the expense of Lungi Ngidi.
If Moeen is still not fit, the franchise could go in with the same XI against Sunrisers Hyderabad. But if Moeen is fit, he would come back straightaway. Because Delhi is expected to produce a slow wicket, the franchise might stick with Imran Tahir who had a decent last game.
Sunrisers Hyderabad, for the match against Delhi Capitals, had to make one forced change. Bhuvneshwar Kumar had pulled up and Jagadeesha Suchith replaced him. Suchith played a decent knock at the end. So, if Bhuvneshwar is fit, he would be slotted in again but Suchith might retain his place. Khaleel Ahmed might have to sacrifice for Bhuvneshwar.
