Two teams that have struggled – Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders will take on each other, in what would be the penultimate contest at the Wankhede stadium, Mumbai on Saturday.
Rajasthan Royals, in their last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore, made just one change to their playing XI. Shreyas Gopal replaced Jaydev Unadkat. The franchise looked at the past record of Gopal against Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. The spinner had dismissed the RCB duo a number of times before.
However, the move didn’t quite pay dividends as RCB chased down the target without losing a single wicket. Unadkat might find his place back in the side. Another possible alteration could be at the top. Manan Vohra has had many failures and so, he could be replaced by someone like Yashasvi Jaiswal.
On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders rang in a couple of changes. In place of Harbhajan Singh, Kamlesh Nagarkoti came in considering there isn’t much in the Mumbai pitch for the spinners. The other change was Sunil Narine in place of Shakib Al Hasan. The Bangladeshi all-rounder didn’t have the kind of impact that was expected of him. KKR could go in with more or less the same line-up.
