Ravindra Jadeja hasn’t been in action for a while now following a thumb injury he sustained in Australia. He recently took to Twitter to keep the fans updated about his recovery and shared an exercise video of him.

During the third Test match against Australia in Sydney, the Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja suffered from a thumb injury. Following the incident in January, he had to return to India and miss the Test, T20I, and ODI series England at home too. the 32-year-old since then has been recovering from the injury gradually and getting ready for the comeback.

Recently he was seen in the nets after days. He shared a video where he could be seen exercising. He was measuring the length of his jumps in the video. Jadeja shared on social media with a caption written, “Keep moving forward”. No wonder, he wanted to share his recovery information and updates with the world. Jadeja, who has been a core member of Virat Kohli’s team India for long had been rehabilitating at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. Currently, he is in his home state Gujarat, as per his recent social media posts.

Jadeja’s comeback

In absence of Jadeja which was expected to hurt the Indian cricket team a lot, Axar Patel was called up to fill in. Surprisingly Axar did so well that the netizens started asking what would happen once Jadeja comes back? In the Test series against England, Axar Patel played like a pro and registered five-wicket hauls with ease. Even all-rounder Washington Sundar is slowly becoming a regular in the squad in place of Jadeja.

However, the man in question is expected to make a comeback to cricket with the Indian Premier League 2021. Jadeja will be once again representing Chennai Super Kings under Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
