IPL 2020 RCB vs MI : Royal Challengers Bangalore Might go for Three Major Changes Against Mumbai Indians

Royal Challengers Bangalore started the 13th edition of Indian Premier League with a bang. But then they were back the zone they have been infamously famous for over these IPL years. In their last outing they were defeated by Kings XI Punjab, led by new captain KL Rahul by a big margin of 197 runs. Now they will be taking on the field against the defending champions Mumbai Indians in the 10th match of the season.

RCB could try these changes

The big defeat and Virat Kohli’s form have taken the team under scanner since last week. The aim for RCB should to be to get back to the winning ways today but with Mumbai Indians at the opposition it won’t be easy. Royal Challengers Bangalore might think of modifying their team combination and at least make three significant changes to the team to claim a win this time.

Parthiv Patel: The senior keeper-batter has been a decent performer and he is yet to play his first IPL match of this season. He was replaced with Josh Philip in the team ahead but that did not help the side much. Philip failed to live up to the expectations in last two opportunities. Today in place of Philip, Patel may get a call considering his experience.

Moeen Ali: Moeen Ali is an experienced player and can be an asset for any side. In place of Washington Sundar, Royal Challengers Bangalore may think of fitting Moeen Ali in the playing XI. His batting can also give some dept to the team apart from his experience of 164 T20 matches.

Mohammad Siraj: Umesh Yadav has conceded 35 and 48 runs in last two matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Considering how important this fixture against Mumbai Indians will be, maybe keeping Yadav out of team can be an effective call. Mohammed Siraj can replace him in such situation.

Possible playing 11 of Royal Challengers Bangalore

Devadatta Padikkal, Aaron Finch, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Parthiv Patel, Shivam Dubey, Moin Ali, Navdeep Saini, Mohammed Siraj, Dale Steyn, Yuzvendra Chahal
