Virat Kohli has five which clearly means captain Kohli is a threat to Gayle in the 13th edition of IPL when it comes to the most number of hundred. Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli is also the leading run-scorer in the history of the league with 5412 runs at 37.84. Suresh Raina is the second one on the list with 5368 runs. It could be a nice clash between these two which the spectators would miss because of Raina’s exit from the league. Kohli is all set to become the first player with 6000 IPL runs if he can score 588 more. Kohli has sixteen 50+ scores while chasing. But in IPL the master of chasing is still Gautam Gambhir with twenty 50+ scores while chasing. Kohli will love to cross Gambhir considering his love for chasing.

Delhi Capitals’ Amit Mishra is the leading spinner of the league thus far with 157 scalps from 147 matches at 24.19. He is followed by Harbhajan Singh and Piyush Chawla on the list. Both have managed to take 150 wickets each. Although Harbhajan Singh’s participation is getting delayed day by day, Piyush Chawla has all the chances to surpass Mishra. Overall, Lasith Malinga is the highest wicket-taker (170) in IPL followed by Mishra in the second position. No wonder Mishra will eye this one keeping in mind the spent force senior.
Dhoni vs Karthik
IPL’s most successful skipper MS Dhoni holds the record of most dismissals as a wicket-keeper in the tournament’s history. He has 132 dismissals and also affected the most number of stumpings which is 38. Kolkata Knight Riders’ Dinesh Karthik is just two dismissals behind the former Indian skipper. On the other hand, Karthik has effected 30 stumpings and holds the record of most number of catches (101). So while Karthik can surpass Dhoni in the list of dismissals and stumpings, MS Dhoni with 95 catches to his name will try better his numbers.
Most successful overseas player
David Warner is one of the most successful overseas players the league has seen thus far. He is just 295 runs away from crossing the 5000 career runs milestone in IPL. While playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad as their mainstay Warner will have ample chance of doing so and becoming the first overseas player to score 5000 career runs in the IPL. The skipper of SRH will also eye a record of scoring his 50th IPL half-century 44 IPL fifties to his name. If he is able to score at least two hundred, he will reach the top of most century scorers list as well.
DJ Bravo
Dwayne Bravo has recently become the first bowler to have 500 T20 wickets. Coming from Caribbean Premier League, Bravo will be highly motivated to continue his good show in the IPL 13 as well. With 1483 runs and 147 wickets to his name in the tournament, he will likely become the first-ever player to complete a double of 1500 runs and 150 wickets in the history of IPL.
