In the 19th over of the match between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad, an animated reaction from Mahendra Singh Dhoni saw the umpire on duty change his decision. This did not go well with many including the SRH captain, David Warner.

A wide yorker from thakur to Rashid Khan saw the umpire almost stretching his hands to signal a wide. But then Dhoni got angry and lost his calmness. This reaction did influence Reiffel change his decision.

However, the decision did not have much impact in the result. But it gave birth to a controversy. Dhoni reaction was questioned. David Warner, in the dugout was seen unpleasant following the same incident.

Chennai Super Kings who are finally coming back to the winning way played like a team yesterday. For Sunrisers Hyderabad, one or two performances were not sufficient.

After the game, Dhoni stated, “Ultimately what really matters is you getting two points. What T20s have shown is that there are a few games that don’t go your way and then there are some that go your way even when you haven’t earned it. Today I felt we did a very good job even in the batting. There was some purpose with the bat and the batsmen assessed the situation very well. With a total like 160, it all depends on the start you get in the first six overs. The fast bowlers did the job, the spinners came into play and it was one game that was as close to being perfect.”
