The BCCI is awaiting the coronavirus test results of Chennai Super Kings and will be announcing the final schedule of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League on Friday. If all players of Chennai Super Kings are found negative for the COVID-19, CSK will have a change to play the opening game of the season against defending champions Mumbai Indians. In a different scenario, their matches will be delayed.

Several members of CSK including two players tested positive earlier for the deadly COVID-19 virus. The second test had a much better result. In all probability, the team will resume their training on Friday.
