IPL 2020: Adam Zampa Out, Moeen Ali in for RCB’s Match Against DC

As Royal Challengers Bangalore takes the field against Delhi Capitals today in the Indian Premier League, Virat Kohli will miss the service of Adam Zampa. The Australian has been ruled out of the match following a stomach problem.

Zampa misses out

Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to bowl first against Delhi Capitals today at Dubai. A major change in the Bangalore squad is the removal of Adam Zampa. Zampa, as mentioned by Kohli is suffering from stomach issues and therefor has been replaced by Moeen Ali as the all-round option. “Unfortunately, Zampa misses out with a stomach problem He goes out and we had to make a couple changes because of that. Moeen Ali replaces him as the all-round option.” Royal Challnegers Bangalore also decided to opt for Mohammed Siraj in place of Gurkeerat Singh Mann.

Virat Kohli further spoke about pitch and explained the reason behind choosing to bowl first. “We’ll bowl first. Same pitch as last night, played brilliantly, ball was coming on to the bat. In the second half, we saw one partnership and CSK cruised through. With the dew in, you’re really not out of the game when batting second.”

Virat Kohli who was seen back to form during the last match of Royal Challengers Bangalore. After winning the toss today Kohli recalled the same and said, “I’m glad that I was able to make a contribution. I have been playing with that expectations for 7-8 years, nothing new. I take a lot of pride in going out there and playing. He’s (Devdutt) someone who has come and taken the tournament by storm. We have won those crucial moments in the first four matches. Three wins early on will allow you to play positively.”
