The stage is set for a cricketing spectacle like no other as the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced the monumental lineup for India‘s highly anticipated tour of England in 2025. Brace yourselves for a clash of titans across iconic venues: Lord’s, The Oval, Edgbaston, Headingley, and Old Trafford. The battle promises to ignite the cricketing world. 

Venues for future Ashes unveiled as well 

But that’s not all! The ECB didn’t stop there. Revealing their long-term vision, the board also unveiled the venues for the next two Ashes series to be held in the UK. In 2027, cricket enthusiasts can look forward to witnessing the Ashes rivalry unfold at the legendary Lord’s, The Oval, Edgbaston, Trent Bridge, and the historic Ageas Bowl, making its Ashes debut! 

Hold your breath for another thrilling announcement! The England Women’s team will lock horns with Australia in a scintillating Test match at the iconic Headingley as part of a mesmerizing multi-format series during the same action-packed summer. 

Looking even further ahead to 2031, the Ashes will once again captivate fans as Australia battles it out against England at Lord’s, The Oval, Emirates Old Trafford, Headingley, and Trent Bridge. And in a significant development, The Ageas Bowl will witness the Women’s multi-format series, featuring an exhilarating Test match. 

Venues for 2029 revealed too 

The excitement doesn’t end there! In 2029, when India returns for a thrilling five-match Test series, cricket aficionados can mark their calendars for Lord’s, The Oval, Edgbaston, Old Trafford, and The Ageas Bowl. It’s a cricketing extravaganza you won’t want to miss! 

In an effort to bolster the growth of women’s cricket, the ECB also unveiled a historic move, allocating seven consecutive years of Women’s international matches at the iconic Lord’s. Furthermore, Edgbaston retains its status as the esteemed home of the T20 Blast Finals Day, ensuring an electrifying atmosphere for T20 enthusiasts. Venues for 2029 revealed too 

Richard Gould, ECB Chief Executive Officer, expressed his excitement, stating, “For the first time, we are announcing long-term allocations for Women’s international matches as well as Men’s. We have seen huge growth in attendances for Women’s matches in recent years, with this year’s Women’s Ashes smashing previous records, and we want to build further on this in the years ahead.”
