India tour of West Indies, 2019 WI vs IND 2nd ODI Match Prediction Who Will Win Today

India tour of West Indies, 2019 2nd ODI WI vs IND Match Prediction Who Will Win

The second of the 3 ODIs between West Indies and India will take place at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad on Sunday. Keep reading to find out 2nd ODI WI vs Ind Match Prediction.

The first ODI in Guyana ended in no result as the rain gods intervened. Virat Kohli asked the hosts to bat first after he won the toss. But only 13 overs were possible in the innings before the conditions were deemed to be unsuitable for play. There were multiple interruptions throughout the day and finally, the rain had the last laugh.

Out of the very little play that was possible, the Men in Blue were dominant. Initially, the pacers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammad Shami applied the pressure and there was hardly anything on the board after the first 6 overs. Evin Lewis then began to open up his shoulders and struck a few big ones. However, Kuldeep Yadav managed to remove the subdued Chris Gayle from the other end.

Lewis was unbeaten on 40 off 36 balls and it proved to be a happy return to form after a poor T20I series. For India, all the bowlers did well except Khaleel Ahmed who got hit for 27 runs from his 3 overs. However, it was too little to draw conclusions from. Now the venue changes and hopefully the weather too. For any team to win the series, now they need to win both the remaining matches in Trinidad.
