Here’s The Reason Why Kedar Jadhav Is Not Playing Today IPL Match 40 Against Rajasthan Royals

Kedar Jadhav has failed to impress so far in the IPL 2021. Moreover, last match saw him failing to help during a low-scoring chase. Sunrisers Hyderabad are still in the race and therefore, probably want to give a last try. They decided to drop quite a few players including Kedar Jadhav.

Sunrisers Hyderabad were chasing 126 against Punjab Kings and Jason Holder needed one partner. Both Manish Pandey and Kedar Jadhav failed to provide any support in the cause and Hyderabad lost the game. After multiple failed attempts from Kedar Jadhav, Sunrisers Hyderabad decided to trust young brigade. After asking to bowl first by Sanju Samson, Kane Williamson informed, “Pandey, Kedar miss out. Priyam Garg, Abhishek Sharma are playing. Sid Kaul replaces injured Khaleel. Today there is something fresh. There are a lot of changes. So it is important that the youngsters come in and stick to their strengths. As a unit we do want to be putting performances together. That is the focus for us even though we are sort of no longer in the comp. We want to play the kind of cricket we are proud of.”

Sanju Samson, the Rajasthan Royals captain decided to bat first and welcomed Evin Lewis and Chris Morris, “We are looking to bat first. Team combo, atmosphere suits us to bat first. We learn from the loss in the last game. We are having fitness issues. Kartik Tyagi is out with injury. Morris and Lewis return in place of Miller and Shamsi.”
