Hardik Pandya’s Instagram post was hijacked by Shikhar Dhawan. When Pandya posted a picture of him cooking with a big smile on his face, Dhawan made the best of the opportunity to take a dig at his junior.
Pandya cooked a yummy meal
The jack of all trades, Hardik Pandya used this lockdown period to learn a bit of cooking and shared the same with his fans on Instagram. His latest Instagram picture has attracted over 4.5 lakh views in just two hours. Pandya could be seen wearing a colourful apron, in his usual funky style cooking with an ear to ear smile on his face. The caption relayed his feeling well, “Never too late to try your hand at learning something new. Chef duties at the Pandya household Swipe for the dish PS dish is cheese butter masala.”
He then posted a picture of the final product as well in the same post. While the post went viral in no time, a particular comment was liked the most by the followers.
Dhawan’s comment went viral
Delhi batsman Shikhar Dhawan commented on the post, “Bikul bhai tuney hi banaya hoga. (I am sure brother that the dish has been cooked by you.” As the characteristic of Dhawan is well known to all, it is not tough to imagine that he has written the comment in a funny tone to pull the leg of Hardik Pandya. Pandya’s fiancée Natasa Stankovic and India’s World Cup-winning pacer Munaf Patel also were seen to have appreciated the efforts of the all-rounder.
After September 2019 following a lower-back injury, Pandya was kept out of the team. Although he did to try to make a comeback in the South Africa series which was later abandoned due to the virus outbreak. Pandya is expecting to make a comeback in IPL 2020. The league was also postponed in the wake of the pandemic. In all probability, the league will be now played without the audience in sometime soon. Pandya, on the other hand, is expecting his first child with Natasa as well and this news was also announced during the lockdown.
