Harbhajan tries to mediate the fight between Kohli and Gambhir, also apologizes to Sreesanth

The riveting world of cricket has been buzzing with the scathing confrontation between Virat Kohli, the talented batting sensation of Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Gautam Gambhir, the revered mentor of Lucknow Super Giants. This tumultuous altercation, which unfolded after Royal Challengers Bangalore’s triumphant 18-run victory over Lucknow at the illustrious Ekana Sports City Stadium, has become the talk of the town.

The esteemed former Indian spinner, Harbhajan Singh, who has had the privilege of playing alongside both Kohli and Gambhir, has taken to his YouTube channel to express his thoughts on the matter.

Harbhajan feels ashamed

Amidst the brewing storm of the heated altercation between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir Harbhajan Singh, has taken a diplomatic approach by attempting to pacify the situation. In his latest YouTube video, Singh has taken on the role of mediator, urging the two players to put aside their differences for the sake of the sport.

“Virat, you are a big player, there is no need for you to get in a fight with anyone, what is the need for all this?”, Harbhajan said in his video on YouTube.

Singh, with his vast experience in the game, has appealed to Kohli, reminding him that he is a colossal figure in the cricketing world and that there is no need for him to engage in fights with anyone. The renowned spinner has emphasized that conflicts of this nature are detrimental to the spirit of cricket and must be avoided at all costs.

In his typical composed manner, Harbhajan has hailed both players as passionate individuals who may occasionally find themselves in such situations. However, he has implored them to keep in mind that cricket is a sport that transcends individual rivalries and conflicts.

Harbhajan apologizes to Sreesanth

Harbhajan also recalled the ugly incident from the 2008 edition of the IPL where the off-spinner had allegedly slapped his then-India teammate S Sreesanth. Bhajji said that he was ashamed of what he did to Sreesanth back then.

“Whatever happened between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir was not right for cricket. I’m ashamed of what I did with S Sreesanth.”, he further mentioned in his video.
