Harbhajan Singh promises to end the fight between Kohli and Gambhir

It has almost been two days since the brawl between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir but the updates just don’t stop coming in. Several former cricketers have shared their thoughts about the incident and how they want Gambhir and Kohli to rekindle in order to restore the spirit of cricket. Former Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh also spoke on the matter on his YouTube channel and made a shocking promise to his fans.

The fight will end

Harbhajan Singh feels that the incident between Kohli and Gambhir was not right for the cricketing world and a corrective measure should be taken to bridge the rift between the two. In a shocking revelation, Harbhajan has promised that he will put an end to the fight and  get Kohli and Gambhir to hug each other after the IPL. “I’ll make sure that Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir meet and hug each other after the IPL. The fight will end.”, Bhajji said in a video he posted on his YouTube channel.

The statement from Harbhajan has given the fans a hope that everything will soon be alright. The fight has escalated from the field to social media with Virat Kohli, Naveen ul Haq and Naveen’s manager all having a go.

Harbhajan the mediator

However, this is Harbhajan’s second attempt to pacify the situation between Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli. Earlier on Tuesday, Harbhajan had urged Virat Kohli to let go of the entire matter. “Virat, you are a big player, there is no need for you to get in a fight with anyone, what is the need for all this?”, Harbhajan had asked Virat.

Harbhajan himself was also a part of one such incident when the veteran spinner had allegedly slapped S Sreesanth in the 2008 edition of the IPL. The incident between Kohli and Gambhir gave Harbhajan a new perspective who eventually aplogized to Sreesanth for his behaviour.
