Gautam Gambhir Stirs Up Motivation For The Indian Team, Says They Still Stand As a Champion Side

The 2023 World Cup final has a bitter outcome for the whole of India with Australia lifting the ICC World Cup trophy for the sixth time. Australia’s win broke a billion peoples hearts, with fans all over the country feeling like this is a personal loss. No wonder it is a personal loss because, seeing the Indian team getting defeated on its home ground is not easy, and that too after remaining unbeaten in the tournament so far having won 10 consecutive matches.

The Men in Yellow emerged victorious against the Men in Blue by 6 wickets in the grand event of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. Having won the toss, Australia chose to field first and restricted India at 240. In the second innings, India had rather bitter luck as India’s bowling unit was suffering to get crucial wickets with a bit of fielding errors alone made the match tough for team India.

A billion dreams shattered

The whole of India was dreaming about a third World Cup trophy but Australia’s brilliancy shattered every Indian’s hope to get the trophy home. For the team, it didn’t seem too easy to cope with the loss as some of the players, including skipper Rohit Sharma couldn’t hold onto their tears after the hard hit loss. The whole country stands with the Indian Cricket Team in their effort to offer empathy and support, and cherish those extra mile achievements the team has attained throughout the tournament.

Gautam Gambhir’s encouraging thoughts for the team

A wide number of former Indian cricketers and personalities took to their various social media handles to speak about the fact that team India tried their best they could in the final showdown. How they played each game with utmost dedication and consistency was enough to get our heads up high and that they deserve the world.
