MS Dhoni who has not been looking in good touch with the bat has confirmed that he is not retiring from IPL so soon. Dhoni retired from international cricket last year on August 15. Since then fans have already seen him donning the yellow jersey while leading Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.

He has been one of those players who becomes talking point often as the cricketer playing his last IPL. The IPL 2020 was not great for him as a better and a captain too. For the first time, Chennai failed to make it to the Playoffs last year. This year they have made a brilliant comeback and become the first team to qualify to the Playoffs. As always, they are one of the favourites to claim the title this season. It would be their fourth IPL title if Chennai manage to win the league this year. As a captain and veteran CSK member, nothing could be a better farewell season for Dhoni.

However, Dhoni during a chat with fans on the occasion of 75th year celebration of India Cements has cleared the speculations. He said, “When it comes to farewell, you can still come and se play me for CSK and that can be my farewell game. So, you will still get that opportunity to bid me farewell. Hopefully, we will come to see Chennai and play my last game over there and we can meet fans there.”
