Axar Patel is set to miss the third ODI against Australia. It is a setback for India. Axar is currently in NCA, Bangalore, undergoing a rehabilitation process. It is heard that he is not fit yet to play the third ODI against Australia.
Axar’s injury happened during the match against Bangladesh in Asia Cup 2023. He and Shubman Gill were batting then he got injured. After the match, it was confirmed that Axar had sustained left quadriceps strain. Because of this injury, he didn’t play in the Asia Cup final. Washington Sundar replaced him in the final.
