Australia won the World Cup for the sixth time. They defeated India by six wickets in the final match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In that match, Australia did exceptionally well. In every department, they showcased their talent. They dominated India since the beginning of the match. After winning the most desired trophy, the Aussie squad took a cruise ride in the Sabarmati River in Gujrat. 

Special Cruise Ride:

Australia is one of the most successful teams in the history of the tournament. They won the trophy five times and made it six in the last match. After starting the tournament with two consecutive losses, they came back remarkably. After that comeback, there is no lookback for them. They started winning back-to-back matches and made their road to the final.

After winning the trophy, celebration is not stopping in the Aussie squad. They celebrated the win since the last night. This morning, the whole Aussie squad was captured having a ride on a cruise on the Sabarmati River in Gujrat to celebrate the win. That moment caught eye.

Australia’s Exceptional Performance:

India performed exceptionally well in this tournament. After winning all the matches in the group stage and the semifinal stage they secured their place in the final. But it was Australia’s day. The toss was a big thing in the match. Australia won the toss and decided to bowl first. Rohit Sharma missed the well-deserved half-century. Virat Kohli played an innings of 54 runs and KL Rahul scored 66 runs in 107 balls.

Australian bowling was excellent. Mitchell Starc was excellent. He took 3 wickets in 55 runs. Josh Hazelwood took 2 wickets in 60 runs. Pat Cummins picked up 2 wickets in 34 runs. Maxwell and Zampa took 1 each.

In the second innings, it was pure Australia’s excellence. After David Warner’s dismissal, Travis Head held the innings. He played an exceptional innings of 137 runs in 120 balls. He smashed 15 boundaries and 4 over-boundaries. Marnus Labuschagne remained unbeaten on 58 runs. They won the match by 6 wickets.
