An Appeal From The Indian Skipper To Fight Covid-19

The coronavirus situation is getting worse day by day. The whole world is going through a tough phase and all are coming together to deal with it. The celebrities are appealing to the people as well to maintain hygiene and go for self-isolation. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma also took to their social media accounts to appeal to the mass through a video message.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for ‘Janta Curfew’ on Sunday to fight against the Covid-19. The increasing cases of the coronavirus in India have become a major concern now. Everyone is trying to deal with it. Self-isolation and maintaining hygiene is the best option to stay away from the virus. Among other celebrities Anushka Sharma, the leading Indian actress and the wife of the Indian captain Virat Kohli shared a video on her social media handles where she along with Kohli asked all to act together to stop the spread of the virus. Both of them appealed to all to stay at home and stay safe.

Kohli thanks medical professionals

On Thursday night just after the announcement by Narendra Modi, Kohli took his Twitter account and asked all to adhere to the norms for the safety of all. He wrote, “Be alert, attentive and aware to combat the threat posed by Covid 19. We, as responsible citizens, need to adhere to the norms put in place for our safety as announced by our Honourable Prime Minister Shri @NarendraModi ji. #IndiaFightsCorona.”

He went on to applaud the health sector professionals working day and night to keep all safe for the threat of the virus. He wrote, “Also, special mention to all the medical professionals in the country and around the globe for all the efforts being put in to fight the #CoronaVirus. Let’s support them by taking care of ourselves and everybody around us by maintaining good personal hygiene. #IndiaFightsCorona.”
