The most anticipated clash of the 2023 World Cup will commence today at 2:00 pm at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. 5-time World Cup champions Australia and World Cup hosts India will take on each other in a big clash, as they did earlier in the 2003 World Cup finals in Johannesburg. Harbhajan Singh favours team India!
Ahead of the finals, veteran former Indian pacer Harbhajan Singh favoured the Men in Blue to win the 2023 World Cup title. He asserted that the Indian team has played exceptionally well in the tournament therefore the whole team’s performance is what is needed to win the big match and individual brilliancy cannot make you win the match alone.
While speaking to a new channel, Harbhajan remarked “Individual brilliance can probably win you a game or two. But when you want to win a cup, you have to perform like team India. All the batters are in form. And more than just that, they look happy. A happy unit is a winning unit. So, I believe that India is a superior team going into the final.”

He further asserted “Australians have come through individual brilliance, and that’s how they have won games. They have not played as a team. You know, normally Australians play as a unit like India is playing. So that is where India has the advantage, because they are playing as a unit.”
