In the match, Afghanistan struggled, especially in the second innings. In front of India’s bowling brilliance, the Afghan effort fell short. This rare occurrence first happened against England in Perth in 2022 and was repeated in their match against India in Bridgetown in 2024.
In 2022, they faced England on Perth and failed to dominate the opponent and got all out in 112 runs. Ibrahim Zadran scored 32 runs which was their highest score in that innings. The unwanted scenario happened this time too when they got all out in 134 runs against India. Along with that defeat, their unbeaten steak also got broken.
